Class guide

Druid: Restoration, Feral and Balance

Druid spends mana and is the only class with three specs. The independent database names a Druid of the Claw model, single source. Restoration’s tools: Lifebloom, Swiftmend, Nature’s Cure, Innervate, Tree of Life, Wild Growth and Nature’s Swiftness. Feral’s: Pounce, Mangle, Shred, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Maim and Tiger’s Fury. Balance’s: Starfire, Insect Swarm, Typhoon, Starfall, Force of Nature, Hush of Elune, New Moon, Ironbark and Sunfire. Shared tools include Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Healing Touch, Wrath, Moonfire, Entangling Roots, Cyclone, Barkskin, Faerie Fire and Bash.

Version 0.6 launched Restoration and Feral only. Version 0.13 lists Feral mana at 5000 and Restoration mana at 6250. Version 0.16 shortens Wrath and Moonfire to 30 metres and makes Barkskin and Nature’s Swiftness dispellable. Version 0.20 adds Balance: Moonkin Form, Starfire, Insect Swarm, Typhoon, and redistributed Moonfire damage. Cyclone is single-target from 0.21. Restoration is a healer, so the healer queue rules apply. Feral was among the specs tuned in 0.14, without numbers I am willing to repeat.

Nineteen specs only adds up if this third spec is counted. I will not rank Balance against Feral. No public source found as of 2026-10-30 for a moonkin win rate.

0.21.1: Feral movement

The public client notes remove Prowl’s movement penalty. This is a Feral movement change, not a new specialization or a Balance damage change.

Restoration

Restoration is the healing specialization, with Lifebloom, Swiftmend and Wild Growth. The 0.18 dispel rule removes one Lifebloom stack and causes that stack to bloom.

Feral

Feral is the melee specialization, with Mangle, Shred, Rip and finishers. Prowl’s movement penalty is removed in the public 0.21.1 notes; this does not establish a damage ranking.

Balance

Balance is the third specialization added in 0.20, with Moonkin Form, Starfire, Insect Swarm and Typhoon. Moonfire’s damage was redistributed; the note does not substantiate a longer duration.

These are single-source kit descriptions from the public client and its derived database, not ranked builds. For editorial role examples, see comp planning; for published changes, see patch notes.
