Classes
All 9 classes and 19 specs
The current client has nine classes and 19 specializations. Druid has three. Every other class has two. Count class-spec pairs: 3 + (8 × 2) = 19. Priest has Discipline and Shadow, not a Holy specialization; Holy belongs to Paladin.
Each spec has five talent rows with three choices on a row, according to the independent database’s reading of the current client. That shape is a single source. Two utility slots arrived in 0.19, chosen from Medallion, Bandage, Infuse, Hustle and Healing Tonic. I am not naming a best class. The tier list explains why the board is empty.
Launch order from the changelog: Warrior and Mage in 0.1, Priest in 0.2, Rogue in 0.3, Paladin and Hunter in 0.4, Warlock in 0.5, Druid in 0.6, Shaman in 0.8. Balance, the third druid spec, arrives in 0.20. Model names such as Grom or Jaina come only from the independent database.
