Class guide
Shaman: Restoration and Enhancement
Shaman spends mana. The independent database names an orc shaman model, single source. Restoration’s tools: Riptide, Cleanse Spirit, Healing Stream Totem, Tremor Totem, Grounding Totem, Earth Shield, Water Shield, Tidal Force, Spirit Link and Spiritwalker’s Grace. Enhancement’s: Searing Totem, Stormstrike, Shamanistic Rage, Earthbind Totem, Strength of Earth Totem, Feral Spirit, Unleash Elements and Bloodlust. Shared tools: Lesser Healing Wave, Healing Wave, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock, Flame Shock, Frost Shock, Wind Shear, Lightning Shield, Ghost Wolf, Purge and Hex.
Version 0.8 is the launch, 26 Oct 2026, and it states the rule I plan around: one totem of each element, and one elemental shield. Version 0.18 sets Searing Totem at 10 seconds and lets you Tab-target it, so a totem is a real unit rather than scenery. Hex joins the 0.21 single-target control list. Restoration is a healer and sits in the healer queue. Enhancement is melee and does not.
Bloodlust is on the spell list as a single source. I am not claiming a group-wide haste number, because the changelog excerpt I have does not print one. No public source found as of 2026-10-30 for a shaman win rate.
Restoration
Restoration is the healer, with Riptide, Earth Shield and healing totems. The class launch limits totems to one per element and permits only one elemental shield.
Enhancement
Enhancement is the melee specialization, with Stormstrike and Searing Totem. Searing Totem becomes Tab-targetable in 0.18; the note explicitly says other totems are still skipped.
These are single-source kit descriptions from the public client and its derived database, not ranked builds. For editorial role examples, see comp planning; for published changes, see patch notes.
